Obituary of Ronnie Lee VanSteenkiste-Amador
Riga – Ronnie Lee VanSteenkiste-Amador, age 24, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, unexpectedly from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Ronni was born on September 18, 1997, in Adrian, the daughter of Miguel A. Amador and Rhonda L. VanSteenkiste. Ronnie was a graduate of Blissfield High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Adrian College where she was currently employed as an Administrative Assistant and she was also a member of the Riga Fire Department. Ronnie had a great love for softball whether she was playing or coaching. She enjoyed all kinds of music, specifically The Weekend, and enjoyed having fun and being the life of the party no matter if she was hanging out with friends or shopping, especially for shoes. Ronnie loved spending time and being around her family, particularly her brother and sister and her four cats, Leo, Lilly, Lou, and Larry. Ronnie will be remembered by her family for her kind, compassionate, forgiving, and loving heart.
Surviving Ronnie are her parents, Miguel and Rhonda; brother, Dylan VanSteenkiste Amador of Riga; sister, Karleigh Amador of Addison; grandparents, Pedro and Marta Amador and Chris VanSteenkiste; uncles and aunts, Johnny and Laurel Amador, Ralph and Melissa Amador, Tyler and Danielle VanSteenkiste, and John VanSteenkiste; and many beloved cousins, great aunts, and great uncles. She was preceded in death by her grandpa, Ron VanSteenkiste and her great grandparents.
Visitation for Ronnie will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Anderson-Rudd Funeral Home, Blissfield. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at Anderson-Rudd Funeral Home, Blissfield with Pastor Dianna Raine officiating. Burial will be in Riga Cemetery.
