To all of Carol's family and friends who loved her, I want to express my most sincere condolences and my regrets for not being able to attend her funeral services. I've known and loved her since the day I witnessed her wedding to my cousin Ken, who had grown up in my parents' household for a good bit of his childhood (I actually believed he was an older brother at the time). I was in her wedding party and she, in turn, was in mine, a year later. Distance and circumstances kept us from visiting much. I think she and Ken only came back to PA three times, and I had only managed to visit in Michigan three times. Knowing Ken as I did, I think she earned her wings by staying at his side through all the years he lived. She was a very sweet and loving person and a good friend, and no one ever loved their grandchildren as much as she did. I am so very sorry for your great loss and mine.
With a heavy heart,
Ann Marie Gimbi
