Obituary of Dorman Richardson

Dorman Roger Richardson, age 80 of Clayton, MI passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital, Adrian, MI.

Dorman was born on August 5, 1941 to Harry and Ethel (DeLine) Richardson, in Morenci, Michigan. He married Victoria Lee Sherman, September 26, 1964, in Clayton, Michigan, and she survives. 

Dorman growing up in Southeastern Michigan, had a love for farming and farmed for many years until he went to work in the construction field.  In his spare time, he spent many hours working in his shop making many wonderful woodworking projects for family and friends.

Besides his wife, surviving is a son, Adam (Robin) Richardson, Morenci, Michigan, and a daughter, Molly (Chris) Merillat, Morenci, Michigan; five grandchildren, Colin (Chelsey) Richardson, Phoenix Richardson, Nicholas (Brittany) Merillat, Denae (Tyler) Tracy, Michaela (Lucas) Snowberger, and four great grandchildren, Lydia Merillat, Finnean Merillat, Bennett Merillat and Alice Tracy. Preceding him in death are his parents and two sisters, Alice and Cheryl.

Per Dorman’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
