Obituary of Merri Driskill

Merri A. Driskill, age 63, of Adrian, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. Merri was born on September 13, 1958, in Hudson, the daughter of James and Virginia (Arnold) Driskill. Merri was a 1976 graduate of Hudson High School and received her bachelor’s degree in Disciplinary Studies in 2012 from Siena Heights University. Merri was a member of West Rome Baptist Church and for many years, she was a Mary Kay Consultant. She enjoyed traveling, going to the movies, and art. Merri loved to take care of her family and to spend time with her grandchildren.

Merri is survived by her son, Scott (Hannah) DeLine; two daughters, Emily (Bradley) Blankenship and Abigail DeLine; brother, James Driskill; sister, Deborah Speller; brother in-law Thomas Miller, and five grandchildren, Noah, Samantha Jo, Lincoln, Ariel, and Chad. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Todd Driskill; sister Diana Miller; two sisters-in-law, Marsha and Patricia Driskill; nephew, Chad DeLine; three grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Visitation and viewing for Merri will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022, from 2-7 p.m. at Eagle-Marry Funeral Home, Hudson. The memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at West Rome Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Malin officiating. Burial of cremains will be held at a later date in Leonardson Cemetery.
