Obituary of Marian Mabel Williams

ADRIAN – Marian Mabel Williams, age 93, of Adrian died Monday, January 31, 2022, at Lenawee Medical Care Facility. She was born July 4, 1928, in Adrian to Frederick Alexander and Mabel Aura (Alverson) Wilson. On July 7, 1946, at the Sand Creek Community Church she married Richard Dwaine Williams and he preceded her in death on June 6, 2010. Marian retired from Key Bank on April 1, 2005. She was a member of Sand Creek Community Church and the Ladies Aid Society. Marian enjoyed spending time with her family, and her church, where she was a pianist and organist for 75 years.

Marian is survived by two sons, Ronald (Laurie) Williams of Adrian, and Steven (Kim) Williams of Adrian; seven grandchildren, Mike Dermyer, Sue Soellner, Steven Williams II, Matthew Williams, Kassandra Gray, Andrew Roddy, and Brandon Williams; six great-grandchildren, Natalie Dermyer, Logan Gray, Angela Soellner, Colin Dermyer, Grady Roddy, and Joie Roddy. In addition to her husband, Richard, she was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Thelma Wilson and Helen Holmes, and an infant son, Lee Williams.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian with Pastor Jamie Driskill officiating. Burial will be in West Madison Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, from 2-8 p.m. at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian.
