Obituary of Jerry Wayne Holland
Adrian – Jerry Holland, age 73, of Adrian, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. He was born on April 7, 1948, in Hodges, AL, the son of Gordon and Florence (Green) Holland. Jerry married Anita Bailey on April 9, 1988, in Adrian and she survives. Jerry had been employed as a Barber at Mohr’s Barbershop for over 50 years. Jerry was very active within the Blissfield Community. He was a member of Kiwanis, enjoyed organizing and attending local car shows where he would raise money for Hospice of Lenawee, loved shooting the breeze with friends over morning coffee, and was an avid Alabama Fan - “Roll Tide Roll”.
In addition to his wife, Anita, Jerry is survived by his four children, Nicole Niedermeyer of Blissfield, Brandon Holland of Collinsville, IL, Christopher Holland of Columbus, OH, and Amber Holland of Adrian; grandchildren, Ryleigh and Dominic Niedermeyer and Preston Holland; one brother, LJ Holland of Alabama; and three sisters, Imogean Hulsey of Alabama, Carolyn Price of Alabama, and Christine Pelham of Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation for Jerry will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021, from 2-8 p.m. at Anderson-Rudd Funeral Home, Blissfield. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Anderson-Rudd Funeral Home, Blissfield. Burial will be in Riga Cemetery. Per the family’s request, please wear an Alabama or Car Show shirts in memory of Jerry.
