Obituary of Patricia Anne Perry

Patricia Anne Perry (Pattie), 78, went to be with Jesus on November 22, 2021, at Hospice Home of Adrian, MI. Pattie was born on February 24, 1943, in Adrian, to Walter & Phyllis (Crothers) Perry. Following doctor recommendations, Pattie spent several years at the Coldwater State Home before transitioning to more group and independent living in Battle Creek, MI. Her last few years were spent in the care of her sister, Joan, in Adrian. Unable to attend traditional school, Pattie still possessed a life-long love of learning, teaching herself to read and write. Since her favorite book was the Bible, her letters to family were written in King James English!! She was glad to serve Jesus by helping with the Salvation Army, and she was proud to wear her uniform. She also participated in Girl Scouts and Special Olympics, and she attended Adrian Hope Center, more recently.

Pattie is survived by her sisters, Joan (Richard) Sullins of Adrian, and Cindy (Rev. Mark) Bullock of Evart, MI, sister-in-law, Enid Perry of Redlands, CA, and many nieces, nephews,great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews, and cousins. Preceding her in death were her parents, brother, Ronald Perry, and niece, Elizabeth Sullins.

A memorial service will be held for family and friends on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 12:00 noon at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian. Burial of cremains will follow the service at Lenawee Hills Memorial Park, Adrian.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lenawee County or to Adrian Hope Center. Arrangements have been entrusted to Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian.
