Obituary of Robert Price

Robert (Bob) Neil Price, 95, of Morenci, Michigan, died November 16, 2021.

He was born in Morenci on October 9, 1926 to the late LeRoy and Ethelyn (Mann) Price.

Bob graduated from Morenci High School June 7, 1945. He enlisted in the Army immediately after graduation serving for 2 years.

In 1948, on his 22nd birthday, Bob married the love of his life, Jeannine Beem of Paris, France. They enjoyed 59 wonderful years together. Jeannine passed November 3, 2007.

Bob lived his entire life in Morenci where he and Jeannine raised their two daughters. It was a wonderful life filled with memories and beautiful grandchildren, great grandchildren, and two great, great grandsons.

Bob worked 40 years for M&S Corporation in Morenci, retiring as Plant Supervisor in 1989. After retirement, he filled his time assisting Jeannine with her passion for painting. He restored and prepared antique items for Jeannine who then painted scenes on them which they then presented at various arts and craft shows.

What Bob enjoyed most during retirement was traveling. He and Jeannine traveled extensively all over the world. He especially enjoyed cruises and trips to the country of France. His last trip in September of 2011 was to Paris at the age of 85.

Bob is survived by daughters, Rosine Downing (Bob) and Chris Wood (Eric), both of Morenci; four grandchildren, Patrick, Sabine, Alexe, and Mackenzie. Eight great grandchildren and two great-great grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Jeannine and brothers Walter Price and Arnold (Barney) Price and sister Betty Rector.

Services for Bob will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Morenci Senior Center (click here for their website). Envelopes are available at the Eagle-Marry Funeral Home in Morenci, who has been entrusted with arrangements.
