Obituary of Trent Allan Freudenberg
Blissfield - Trent Allan Freudenberg, age 17, of Blissfield, tragically passed away in an automobile accident on August 15, 2021. He was born on January 28, 2004, in Sylvania, OH, to Jolene Retter and Thomas Freudenberg. As a proud student at Blissfield High School, Trent was a member of the National Honor Society, was the heart of the team on his baseball and basketball teams and could be heard cheering from the student section at all other sporting events. He loved sports and watched lots of college basketball, cheered for the Detroit Lions and Tigers, and recently even helped lead his team to their fourth repeat Championship at the Ford Field wiffleball competition.
If you’ve ever had the honor of spending time with Trent, you knew how highly infectious his smile was. His favorite way to spend a day was with his friends who loved having him around because wherever Trent was, laughter and good times were, too. Trent loved deeply and unconditionally. Every one of his family and friends, especially his brothers, have surely gained a guardian angel. May he forever ride high on his moped and smile down on us all.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Jolene and Jake Retter; father, Thomas Freudenberg; brothers Austin, Collin, and Jacob Retter Jr.; and his girlfriend, Abby Fisher, along with many more family members. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Peter and Kathleen Noelanders and Franklin Retter, and grandfathers, Ken Orel and Allan McHenry.
