Obituary of Betty Jean Beaubien

Betty Jean Beaubien, age 86, died Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at her home.  She was born September 11, 1934, in Wyandotte, MI, the daughter of Joseph and Hazel (Lee) Deshaw.  On November 29, 1969, Betty married Louis Beaubien in Dearborn Heights, MI and he preceded her in death on March 30, 2012. 

 

Betty was employed as a bookkeeper/property manager for many years.  She loved going to casinos, camping, traveling, especially Up North, ceramics, puzzles, 4-wheelers and being outdoors.  She was known as someone who was a very giving person. 

 

Surviving Betty are four sons; Joe (Dee) Green, Jim (Barb) Green, Steve (Annette) Beaubien, Jon (Robyne) Beaubien, five daughters; Linda Spencer, Peggy (John) Snyder, Deb (Ralph) Poe, Kathleen (Brian) Berry and Suzanne Williamson, three sisters; Doris Titas, Mary Lou (Ronald) Walters and Rinnie Maley, 34 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great-grandchildren.  Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband, were her parents, a son-in-law, Sam Spencer and a brother-in-law, Kenneth Titas.

 

Cremation has taken place.  A public graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Maple Shade Cemetery in Onsted with Pastor Fritz Kruse officiating. You may send condolences to the family at www.andersonfuneralservices.com. Memorial Contributions may be given to Hospice of Lenawee. Envelopes are available at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian.  A luncheon will follow the service at the Onsted American Legion located at 333 Connor Street, Onsted, MI 49265.
