Obituary of Dale J. Glore
Dale J. Glore, age 79, of Adrian, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. He was born on January 15, 1942, in Chesterfield Township, OH, the son of Jessie O’Brien and Josephine Glore. He was as graduate of Chesterfield High School. On November 24, 1962, he married Betty Heimbishner in Canandaigua and she survives. Dale had been employed as a Janitor for Morenci Public Schools. Dale was an all-around sports fan – but his love and loyalty was for the Detroit Tigers no matter what. He enjoyed word searches and watching John Wayne, Gunsmoke and other Westerns. Dale will always be remembered by his family and friends for his dedication to his wife, the love he had for is granddaughter, and his all-around happy demeanor.
Dale is survived by his wife, Betty and in their union they were blessed with 3 grandchildren, Ashley Carpenter (Grandpa always will love you and thought of you as his own granddaughter), Howard Barnes (Grandpa knows that Howard will take care of Ashley) and Anthony Carpenter (Grandpa is proud that Anthony worked at Meijer’s day in and day out). He was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Denzel Carpenter; and adopted son, David L. Heimbishner, along with his beloved canine companion, Peanut Butter.
Per Dale’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services have been planned at this time.
