Obituary of Mary Lynn Vaclavek

Tecumseh – Mary Lynn Vaclavek, age 64, of Tecumseh, passed away unexpectedly on March 30, 2021.  She was born on May 3, 1956 to Louis and Rita (Turowski) Vaclavek in Dearborn, MI.  She obtained her BSN from Madonna University in Livonia.  Mary was employed as a nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital, the University of Michigan Hospital and the Garden City Hospital. She was a devout Catholic and her faith was very important to her. Mary was the life of any party and she had a way of making you feel special.  HHHHer favorite pastime—finding God in the beauty of nature with her art of photography and card-making.  She will be remembered for her kind and caring nature.  Mary truly made the world a better place!

 

Left to cherish Mary’s memory is her mother, Rita Vaclavek; brothers, Louis Vaclavek, George (Susan) Vaclavek, Gregory Vaclavek and Robert Vaclavek; sisters, Jacqueleen Magon and Suzanne (Rodney Cadell) Vaclavek; nieces, Alexandra, and Kristina; nephews, Gerard, Jack, Remington (April), Gustav, and Richard (Emily), along with many friends who will miss her dearly. She is preceded in death by her father, Louis Vaclavek and brothers, Gerard and Stephen Vaclavek. 

 

A Funeral Mass for Mary will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church at 12:00 p.m. with Father Dan Wheeler officiating.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at Noon.
