Joseph John Mannarino, age 66, of Clayton, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. He was born on July 30, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan to John and Laura (Wright) Mannarino. Joe married Katherine Sue Bennett on January 12, 1979 in Caro, Michigan. He was employed by the Lenawee County Road Commission for 15 years before retiring. Joe was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. In his free time, Joe played the guitar and banjo and liked to listen to classic rock. Most of all, Joe enjoyed spending time hanging out in his barn shooting the crap with his friends. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Joe was a very kind, giving and understanding person who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Left to cherish Joe’s memory is his loving wife of 44 years, Kathy; children, Krissy (Terri) Ratliff and Joey Mannarino (Denine Sowa); along with 6 grandchildren, TJ, Brittney and Matthew Ratliff, Gage and Tucker Mannarino and Payton Sowa; canine companion, Ruby; lifetime friend, Rod Leon and many more friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother-in-law, parents and a sister.
Per his wishes, no services will be held at this time and cremation will take place. A Celebration of Joe’s life will be held at a later date this year. Condolences may be given to the family at www.andersonfuneralservices.com.
