Donna Lee Palmer, age 72, of Adrian died on Sunday, February 21, 2021, at her home. She was born August 7, 1948, in Syracuse, New York to James Edward and Mary M. (Clemons) Clark. She graduated from G. Ray Bodley High School in Fulton, New York. Donna was married to Kenneth Dale Palmer on February 3, 1973, at St. Mary’s Church in Fulton, New York. Donna was a faithful member of Holy Family Parish, St. Mary’s Campus, Adrian. She devoted her life to raising her children, cooking, and working various jobs to help contribute to the family financially. Along with raising her children, she was a very giving, special grandmother and great-grandmother.
In addition to her husband, Kenneth, she is survived by two sons, Kenneth (Dawn) Palmer of Lyons, Ohio and Kevin (Kaylene) Palmer of Britton; four daughters, Kimberly (Jeff) Palmer of Oswego, New York, Kathryn (James) Gillmore of Phoenix, New York, Kristina (Jeffrey) Stone of Liverpool, New York, and Karen (Todd) Quigg of Adrian; a brother, James B. (Karen) Clark of Baldwinsville, New York; a sister, Beverly Recore of Oswego, New York; 18 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents; and three brothers, Bernard, Richard, and David Lamb.
Visitation for Donna will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021, from 3-6 p.m. at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and social distancing regulations, only a limited number of individuals will be allowed in the chapel at a time and face coverings are required. The funeral will be private. Per Donna’s wishes, cremation will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to The Lenawee Humane Society, envelopes are available at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian.
