ADRIAN-Dolores Louise Horn, age 88, of Adrian, died naturally and peacefully on Thursday, February 18, 2021, at Lenawee Medical Care Facility.
She was born June 6, 1932, in Adrian to Frank and Alice (Thompson) Yensch. On August 12, 1948, she married Miles D. Horn Sr. in Adrian. They were married for 55 years until Miles’ death in 2003. Dolores had been employed for many years as a nanny for the Foster family in Adrian and then employed for a long time with Brockley Studio until their closing and then retiring from Roto Plastics, Inc in the 1990’s. Dolores enjoyed attending Sunday church services at Lenawee Medical Care Facility.
Dolores is survived by her children, Judy Demlow of Adrian, Janet (Roger) Cox of Adrian, Jeanette (David) Sutton of Clearwater, FL, Miles Jr (Teresa) Horn, and David Horn both of Adrian; 10 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, Jack, David, and Ronald and sister, Mildred (Yensch) Gunn.
Visitation for Dolores will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, from 6-8 p.m. at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and social distancing regulations, only a limited number of individuals will be allowed in the chapel at a time and face coverings are required. Funeral services will be private with Pastor Greg Burdine officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
