Obituary of Dewey Pike

Dewey Lee Pike, age 67, of Osseo, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at his home under the loving care of his family. He was born on October 6, 1953, in Morenci, to Ivan and Helen (Deck) Pike. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1970-1972. On May 8, 1982, in Morenci, he married Wendy Faust and she survives. Dewey had been employed with Hi-Lex, retiring on October 6, 2018. Dewey enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, boating, going to the casino, and raising animals.  

In addition to his wife, Wendy, Dewey is survived by three sons, David (Teresa) Osborn of Osseo, Jason (Verlane) Faust of Ransom, and Eric Osborn of Salt Springs, FL; three daughters, Sonya (Jeremy) Freeman of Hillsdale, Melissa (Levi) Percy of Waldron, and Stacy Landel of Waldron; three brothers, Doyle (Robin) Pike of Morenci, Darl (Linda) Pike of Hillsdale, and Danny Pike of Pittsford; two sisters, Brenda Osborn of Pittsford and Becky Keith of Pioneer, OH; 21 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren with two on the way. He was preceded in death by his son, Dewey Pike II; daughter, Shelly Pike; three grandchildren, Shawna, Kyle, and Dewey III; brother, Duane Pike; his parents; and several in-laws.

Per Dewey’s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021, from 4-7 p.m. at Eagle-Marry Funeral Home, Hudson. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and social distancing restrictions, only a limited number of individuals will be allowed in the chapel at a time and face coverings are required. The memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Prattville Community Church.
