Margie Jarin Walter, age 69 of Adrian passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at ProMedica Hickman Hospital in Adrian, Michigan. She was born on September 14, 1951 in Oakland, California to Amador and Marciana (Porciuncula) Jarin, Sr. On June 6 in Berkeley, California she married George Walter. Margie worked in child education at Calvary Christian Academy, which she absolutely loved! She later retired to devote her time and love to being a grandmother. In addition to teaching, Margie loved the Lord and helping others in anyway she could. She was not only known as mom and grandma, but also as the “Snack Queen”, Cross-Fit “Beast”, Shopping Enthusiast and Cleaning Ninja. Margie will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
Surviving is her husband, George; two sons, Aaron (Cecilia) Santiago and Conrad (Jana) Santiago; a daughter, Rowena (Derrick) Webb; a brother, Amador Jarin, Jr. and her pride and joy, her grandchildren, Isabella Santiago, Noah Webb, Justin Santiago, Marciana Webb, Jarin Santiago, Alexandra Webb and Jonah Santiago. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a younger brother, Lor Jarin.
Viewing and visitation for Margie will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020 from 12-3 p.m. at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home in Adrian. Funeral services will be held privately. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and social distancing regulations, only a limited number of individuals will be allowed in the chapel at a time and face coverings are required.
