George Holloway, age 94, a lifelong resident of Hudson, died Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Clarkston Specialty Healthcare Center. He was born on August 4, 1926, in Madison to John and Elizabeth (Baughey) Holloway. He married Wilma A. Burnell on September 26, 1950, in Angola, IN, and she preceded him in death on June 6, 2017.
George is survived by his daughter, JoAnn (Watson) Clark of Hudson; two sons, Michael Holloway and Chris (Linda) Holloway all of Hudson; two grandchildren, Christopher (Sasha) Holloway and Dakota (Dustin) Bixler; six great grandchildren, Trenton, Amillilyn, and Jaelee Bixler, Christopher P. Holloway, Landon Jacob and Merceydes Holloway. In addition to his wife, Wilma, he was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, David Clark; and a step-granddaughter, Candace Lewis.
Visitation for George will be from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Sunday December 13, 2020 at Eagle-Marry Funeral Home, Hudson. Due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic and social distancing regulations, only a limited of people will be allowed in the chapel at a time and face coverings will be required. A private service with Rev. Al Muck officiating will be held later. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Hudson.
