On October 14, 2020, Robert Zachary “Zac” Kasefang, age 30, lost his battle with addiction. It is hard to believe that a drug could be more powerful than the love and support provided by his family, but it is the cruel reality. Zac was a caring soul who was always willing to help and did his best to do no harm to those around him. Zac was very creative and enjoyed sharing his artistic abilities by crafting projects from wood and metal.
The loss of Zac will leave holes in the hearts of many loved ones that survive him; his parents, Robert Kasefang and Denise Simmons (Kella); his siblings Ashley Kasefang, Mason Kasefang, Shane Simmons and Blake Simmons; his grandparents Jane Carlton, Sandy and Robin Ruple. Zac also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Zac was preceded in death by his grandfathers, William Kasefang and Ronald Cole.
A memorial gathering of family and friends for Zac will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2020 from 4-7 p.m. at the Anderson-Rudd Funeral Home, Blissfield. To be protective of others, please wear a face covering and maintain space from others in attendance.
No one sets out to be an addict, Zac did his best, he will forever be loved, missed, and lovingly remembered as the kind soul that he was.
