Pittsford - David Wesley Sinka, age 60, of Pittsford, passed away on July 11, 2020, at his home under the loving care of his family and SouthernCare Hospice. He was born on October 20, 1959, in Wyandotte, MI, the son of Gabriel and Elsie (Smithson) Sinka. David married Kathy Isaacs on December 15, 1979, in West Virginia and she preceded him in death on December 11, 1998.
David was a 1979 graduate of Midland Trail High School in West Virginia. He was previously employed at Metalloy Foundry in Hudson. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and he loved being outdoors.
In addition to his mom, Elsie, David is survived by his children, Deanna Nicole (Chane) Myers of Waldron, Wesley (Sarah) Sinka of Brooklyn, and Jessica Smith of Pittsford; and six grandchildren, Gia, Aubrey, Olivia, Grace, Ashlyn, and Alyssa. He was preceded in death by his wife and his father.
Visitation for David will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m at Eagle-Marry Funeral Home in Hudson. Due to the Governor's new Executive Order mask will be required to enter the funeral home. A private graveside memorial will take place at Leonardson Cemetery in Pittsford at a later date.
