Obituary of Denzel C Carpenter

Denzel C. Carpenter, age 63, of Adrian, passed away on June 9, 2020, at ProMedica Bixby Hospital. He was born on August 29, 1956, to William and Lorena (Pike) Carpenter. He married Pamela Glore on  May 1, 1982 in Canandaigua and she surivves. 

Denzel was alway willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.  He enjoyed volunteering at Habitat for Humanity ReStore and loved his Mt. Dew.  HIs church memberships include West Fulton Dunkard Brethern Church in Wauseon and Canandaigua Community Church.

In addtion to his wife, Pam, Denzel is survived by his two children, Anthony Carpenter of Adrian and Ashley (Howard) Carpenter of Saline; three brothers, Robert (Clarice), Ronald (Cindy), and Richard Carpenter; and four sisters, Carolyn Carpenter, Joan (Art) Wheeler, Jan (Mike) Snedeker, and Jeanie (Jim) Karabinus. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service for Denzel will be held on Monday, June 15, 2020, at 2:00 PM, at Canandaigua Community Church, 11081 Bates St., Morenci, MI, with Pastor Jerry Hoffman, officiating.  Visitation will also be held on Monday, at the church, from 11:00 AM until time of services.  Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Morenci.
