ADRIAN: David K. Degner, age 56 of Adrian, Michigan, passed away at his home on Tuesday November 5, 2019 from an extended illness.
He was born on March 8, 1963 in Toledo, Ohio to Karl and Maris Stella (Bouchard) Degner. He was a hard-working golf caddy, which gave him the opportunity to attend college with a full scholarship through the Evans Scholars Program. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Miami University of Ohio and was proud when he passed the CMA (Certified Management Accountant). On August 4, 1989, he married the love of his life Tami K. Tinnell in Holland, Ohio. He was a proud and loving dad to their children Hillary and Nathan. David worked as an Administrative Manager at Tecumseh Packaging Solutions.
David most loved spending time with his wife and children, being the head of The Degedeaus, and hanging out with the gang. He loved being and traveling with his Tami, watching NASCAR, listening to music in his lounge, and bird watching. He was a proud Ohio State fan and enjoyed watching and going to games. David was the best man, husband, and dad; he was easygoing, silly and funny, and would do anything to help his family and loved ones.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tami, his two children, Hillary and Nathan, sister, Barbara Maunz, and brother Donald Degner. David was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate David’s life will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2019 from 2-7 p.m. at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian.
