Obituary of Delmar Dunham

Delmar Dunham, age 100 of Britton passed away unexpectedly  March 18, 2019 at ProMedica Herrick Hospital. Delmar was born March 5, 1919 to Walter and Minnie Dunham. Delmar served in U.S. Army in the Pacific Theater during World War II. Delmar worked for 44 years at Tecumseh Products as a sodier man Delmar loved making bird houses, woodworking and tinkering in his garage. Delmar was a member of the 41st  infantry division reunion group and the Glen H. Daykin Post 155 in Britton. Delmar was also an active member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Britton.

Delmar is survived by his daughter Linda D. (Richard) Dunham-Frazier. 5 grandchildren and 8  great-grandchildren. Delmar is preceded in death by his wife Wilma L. Dunham in 2011, a son Gary L. Dunham, 5 brothers, and 2 sisters.

 

Visitation for Delmar will be Friday, March 22, 2019, from 4p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home – Tecumseh Chapel, additional visitation will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 10 am until the time of the service. Funeral services for Delmar will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Grace United Methodist Church in Britton, MI with Pastor Mark Zender officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeway Cemetery in Ridgeway Twp. MI. You may send condolences to the family at www.andersonfuneralservices.com. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Lenawee.
