Obituary of Kevin L. Frederick
KEVIN L. FREDERICK
SAND CREEK - Kevin Lee Frederick, age 55, passed away on December 27, 2018. He was born on August 26, 1963 in Adrian, Michigan to Charles and Betty (Reynolds) Frederick. On October 10, 2009 he married his beloved wife, Dawn Frederick, who survives him. Kevin was an avid Michigan Wolverine fan, a mechanic, carpenter, fisherman and enjoyed grilling and providing meals for his family. Family was very important to Kevin and they always came first. Kevin grew up in Sand Creek, Michigan and enjoyed participating in athletics having reached All State football status for the Aggies. He was a member of the Sand Creek Church.
Survivors include his lovely wife, Dawn Frederick, along with his stepchildren, Tiphanie, William and Michael Elbanna. His siblings, Keith Frederick of Sand Creek, MI, Kimberly Force of Lawrenceville, GA and Kenneth (Marie) Frederick of Adrian, MI; his mother-in law, Claudette (John) Thomas of Edgewater, FL; many aunts and uncles including Harold (Twila) Frederick of Adrian, MI, James (Jane) Frederick of Statesville, NC, Sue (Robert) Craig of Sand Creek, MI, Carolyn (Kent) Wyse of Adrian, MI, Arlene Cutler and Cheryl (Ray) Cowgill both of Morenci, MI, Ruth Sampson of Pioneer, OH, Vickie (Ron) Preston, Charline Stover, Woodrow Reynolds, Jr. and Mahlon Reynolds all of Adrian MI and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Betty Frederick, grandparents Alvin and Dola Frederick, Woodrow and Myrna Reynolds and Marjorie and Andrew Cutler; brother-in-law Charles Congden, uncles Donald “Jack” Frederick, Mitch Knierim, Richard and Jerry Reynolds, Larry Cutler and Richard Sampson, aunts Sharon McDowell and Alma Reynolds and cousin Julie Frederick.
Visitation will be held at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home in Adrian on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, from
4 – 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home with Pastor Jamie Driskill officiating. Burial will be in Sand Creek Cemetery.
