Obituary of Edward Jeffery II

Manitou Beach - Edward Archibald Jeffery II, age 67, of Manitou Beach, entered eternal life Wednesday, December 12, 2018.

He was born November 2, 1951 in Wyandotte, MI, the son of Edward A. Jeffery I and Irene (Chorkey) Jeffery. He married the love of his life, Margaret “Peggy” Robideau, on April 13, 1985. Edward was an active member of St. Mary on the Lake Catholic Church and lived his faith in word and deed. He was known for his abundant kindness, his good humor, and his love of storytelling. He always had a song in his heart and loved singing in Church and with his family. An athlete and a leader, he toured the country playing sports with his friends as a young man and later enjoyed coaching his children’s many sports teams. He was his family’s biggest fan, cheering from the sidelines for his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Deer hunting with his sons and many friends brought joy to his heart. He especially loved spending time with his family. Edward fervently embraced the power of prayer and his faith in Jesus.

Edward is survived by his wife, Margaret; his father, Edward A. Jeffery I; his sons Edward A. (Jessica) Jeffery III and Joseph (Justine) Jeffery; his daughter Rachel (David) Lurie; his sisters Ann (Carl) Karcher, Patricia (Greg) DeBord, Mary Jeffery, and Carol (Kent) Martin; and his grandchildren, Harrison, Henry, Eloise, and Anderson Jeffery; Peter and Maria Jeffery.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Jeffery.
