Obituary of Nora N. Cannon Forche
Nora N. Cannon Forche, age 79, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Regency Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. She was born in Central City, KY on January 29, 1939 to Willie G. and Willie M. Dennis. Nora married Charles “Spike” Cannon and he preceded her in death. She later married Richard E. Forche and he also preceded her in death just earlier this year.
She was the Postmaster of the Deerfield Post Office for more than 30 years. She was a member of the Light of Christ (St. Alphonsus) Catholic Church where she was active in the choir. She was always involved in organizing and participating in community events throughout Deerfield. Nora and Richard enjoyed attending the theatre and taking in a Toledo Mud Hens game. Everyone knew Nora to be a very social lady and her kitchen table was always open to family and friends.
Surviving are her children, Michael (Angela) Cannon and Donna (Brett) Holubik; a son-in-law, Doug Louden; step-children, Sharon (Vic) Wilcik, Sue (Dan) Kaseman and Rick Forche; grandchildren, Rachel (Stephen) Thompson, Stephanie (Derek) Nieto, Ross Holubik and Rhett Holubik; step-grandchildren, Sharon (Johnny) Munoz and Danny (Alyssa) Kaseman; great-grandchildren, Faith Sechrest, Isabella Wilson, Helayna Nieto, Isaiah Sechrest, Aubree Nieto, Trinity Sechrest, Erik Thompson, Leigha Thompson and Joshua Thompson and step-great-grandchildren, Johnny Munoz, Danny Munoz and Lainey Kaseman. In addition to her parents and both husbands, Charles and Richard, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Louden.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2018, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Anderson-Rudd Funeral Home, Blissfield, where there will be a Vigil Prayer Service held at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be offered on Monday, November 12, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Light of Christ Catholic Parish (St. Alphonsus Catholic Church), Deerfield presided by Fr.
