Adrian – Jacqueline Marie (Freeze) Richardson, 63 years young, of Adrian, MI passed away on June 5, 2018, while surrounded by her family.
Jacqui was born on August 18, 1954, in Detroit, MI, to Earl and Patricia (Williams) Freeze, growing up in Huntington Woods, MI. Jacqui graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy and later returned to the Adrian area where she was an executive administrator for the Adrian Dominican Sisters and later became an associate.
Jacqui is survived by her two children, Cheryl (Ryan) Henry and David (Heather) Hellebuyck; loving grandma to Grace, Cole, Jennifer, and Niklas; one brother, Don (Chris) Freeze; and one niece and one nephew. She also leaves behind her dear friend, Michael Richardson. Jacqui loved to give; give of herself to others who were in need and she often did it in secrecy. She loved to play cards with anyone, drink wine with her girlfriends, and eat all the ice cream she could muster with the grandkids. She loved camping and sitting on a sandy beach to rest her feet in the sand. Jacqui believed in hope, and that kindness was the greatest thing we could do for ourselves and each other.
Per Jacqui’s request, a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
