Obituary of Tracy Sharrock

Tracy Lynn Sharrock, age 52 of Sand Creek, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at St. Joseph Mercy Medical Center in Ypsilanti, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on April 11, 1966 in Tecumseh, Michigan to Ralph E. and Violet L. (Greenwald) Sayers, Sr.  Tracy was a graduate of Pompano Beach High School in Pompano Beach, Florida.  On February 14, 2007 she married Harley Jason Sharrock in Sand Creek.  He survives.  Tracy worked in retail for most of her life, working for Dollar General and Goodwill stores.  She had a love for dolphins and enjoyed collecting all things dolphins.  Tracy was a devoted wife and mother who was very warm hearted and would do anything for anyone.  She loved to tend to her grandchildren and her garden in her spare-time, often canning her vegetables for family and friends.

 

In addition to her husband, Jason Sharrock, she is survived by her eight children, A.J. (Cassie) Murdico of Adrian, Jason (Brandi Snyder) Sharrock of Morenci, Seth McIntosh of Harrison, Harley Sharrock, Jr. of Sand Creek, Julia (Terrence Cox) Murdico of Pompano Beach, FL, Rebecca (Destiny Hoot) Sharrock, Samantha Sharrock and Hailey Sharrock all of Sand Creek; 5 grandchildren, Shawn, A.J., Jr., Alyvia, Raidon and Braylee and a granddaughter, Jaylynn on the way; 2 brothers, Rodney (Kim) Sayers of Adrian and Ralph Sayers, Jr. of West Palm Beach, FL; 4 sisters, Julie (Bert) Grother of Pompano Beach, FL, Rhonda (Mike) Lidster of Britton, Christine Daykin of Arizona City, AZ and Lori (Sean Green) Sayers of Pompano Beach, FL.  She was preceded in death by her parents and two children, Joseph Murdico, Jr. and Rashelle Sharrock.

 

Visitation for Tracy will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 2-6 p.m. at the Anderson-Rudd Funeral Home in Blissfield followed by a funeral service at 6 p.m.  Condolences for Tracy’s family may be given at www.andersonfuneralservices.com Memorial contributions may be given to the Sharrock Family, to help offset funeral expenses.  Envelopes are available at the Anderson-Rudd Funeral Home, Blissfield.
