I am so sorry for the loss of Fran. I remember as a little girl my mother (Mary Lou Drake) putting me in the car for the "long" drive from the other side of town to your home. I would sit and color or if I was lucky Gina would be home and I would follow her around like a puppy. The laughs started the minute we walked in until we left. I will let both of my parents know about her passing. Such a wonderful lady that left a mark with everyone she came in contact with . . . a great soul. My thoughts are with you as you mourn your mother.

Sorry for your loss. Your Mom and I had a lot of good times together. Both our folks were in the Owl Club together. We went to movies, ice skating, and played cards together. She's younger than me, but she was a good kid in school and a kind hearted woman as an adult. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Frances(Fran,Frannie-sp?) was in my parents' wedding,Mike and Lorena,on Jan 24,1953. She and my mother worked together as nurses. My mother was fond of your mother. I called Frances when my mother died a few years ago. I was struck by Frances' warm, caring manner. I encountered her unexpectedly during my work. At the end of the shift, I reintroduced myself as Martha( I was her nurse and wondered why her name sounded familiar) the daughter of Lorena. She said that she and my Mom had a lot of fun together. Both times , I talked with your mom, I thought she was a lovely person. I am sorry for your loss. Sincerely,Martha Walker
