Obituary of Betty Perry

ADRIAN – Betty Jane (Abbott) Perry, age 76, formerly of Jasper, MI passed away early morning of Saturday, October 07, 2017 in Fort Wayne, IN after a valiant fight against Alzheimer's disease. She was born on September 2, 1941 in Adrian, Michigan to Luke and Choice (Boss) Case.

Surviving are children Cindy Abbott of New Haven, IN, Fran Abbott of Toledo, OH, Ron (Lisa) Abbott of Dexter, MI, Luke (Kristine) Abbott of Grass Lake, MI, nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and her sister Joyce Woerner of Morenci, MI. She is preceded in death by her husband Art and brothers Ray Case and Norman Case.

Betty loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren, enjoyed socializing with friends and Michigan football. She worked at Fayette Tubular in Fayette, OH for many years and also worked as a nanny later in life. She had a sweet and kind spirit that touched many people.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the excellent staff at Golden Years Homestead in Fort Wayne, IN for the outstanding care they provided their mom over the past 5 years. They loved "Miss Betty" as their own and blessed the family with precious peace of mind.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 14th, at 11am at Jasper Bible Church with Rev. Bruce Jewett officiating.
