Obituary of Theodore Saylor

Theodore Saylor Theodore J. Saylor MANITOU BEACH – Theodore J. Saylor, age 71, of Auburn, Indiana, formerly of Manitou Beach, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012, in Ft. Wayne, IN. He was born November 2, 1940, in Blissfield, MI, to Loraine and Margaret (Uckele) Saylor. He was a 1960 Graduate of Deerfield High School, where he participated in basketball and track. Ted served in the US Naval Reserve. He was employed with General Motors until his retirement, after 26 years of loyal service. Ted enjoyed his many wonderful friends. He is survived by two sons, Chris (Allison) Saylor of Niceville, FL and Craig Saylor of Horton, MI; one brother, Tom (Colleen) Saylor of Fremont, IN; one sister, Sue Saylor of Angola, IN; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services for Theodore will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and also on Saturday from 12:00 noon until time of service at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian.
