Patricia Roback

ADRIAN – Patricia A. (Marvin) Roback age 88, of Adrian, died Friday, June 10, 2022 at the Hampton Manor in Adrian, MI.

 

She was born June 29, 1933, in Adrian, MI to William E. and Velma Audrey (Pifer) Marvin.  She married Carl A Roback on April 11, 1953, in Adrian, MI and he proceeded her in death on December 9, 2005.  Patricia graduated from Adrian High School. She worked at Merillat Industries Corporation as payroll clerk.  After retiring she volunteered at Bixby Medical Hospital.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Fairfield Jasper Mother’s Club.  Patricia enjoyed gardening, working with flowers, scrapbooking, crossword puzzles and she was a great cook.  She enjoyed traveling with her husband and Bill and Rose Fetzer and especially cruising to Alaska with family and friends.

 

Patricia is survived by her son William A Roback (Ronda) of Perrysburg, OH., a daughter Cindy Shadewald (Randy) of Adrian, MI. Two sisters Colleen Blain and Janet Bissonnette.  Five grandchildren Keli Tinsley (Ace), Kevin Shadwald (Chelsea), Paige Gerdeman (Ross) and Brogan Roback. Five great-grandsons Konner, Keilan, Braydan, Rylan, Layne, and one on the way.

 

In addition to her husband Carl of 52 years, she was preceded by her parents, brother James Michael Marvin and a son Michael James Roback and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

 

The Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Campus, presided by Fr. Mike Newman.   Visitation for Patricia A. Roback will be held Monday, June 13, 2022 3-7 p.m. at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian with a Vigil prayer service at 7:00 p.m. and visitation will also be Tuesday, June 14, 2022 9:30 a.m. until time of service at St. Mary Campus, Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
