Joseph Peter Jolet

Clinton – Joseph Peter Jolet, age 74 of Clinton, passed away suddenly on January 2, 2022 at his home.  He was born on April 14, 1947 in Detroit to Peter and Rose (Ferris) Jolet. He graduated from St. Martins High School in Detroit and later attended Macomb Community College.  Joseph married Sandra Dowling on November 13, 1965 in Jackson and she survives him.  Joseph was employed by the Ford Motor Company in Saline before retiring after 42 years of service.  He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who doted on his family.    Joseph was a talented musician who played the drums.  He enjoyed listening to music from the 1950’s and 60’s.  After retiring, Joseph and Sandy enjoyed traveling and going to casinos. 


Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Sandra Jolet; daughters, Rose (Michael) Sedlecky and Tammy (John) Hartman; 6 grandchildren, Brooke Hartman, Nicole Hartman, Jamison Sedlecky, Nathan and Morgan Sedlecky, and Lindsey Hartman; and sister-in-law, Sharon Daniels, along with many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.  He is preceded in death by his parents. 


Visitation for Joseph will be held on Sunday, January 9, 2022, from 3-7 p.m. at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Tecumseh. Guests are encouraged to wear face masks. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Tecumseh. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Clinton.
