Jacob Guzman

Adrian – Jacob Guzman, age 18, of Adrian, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on March 10, 2003, in Ann Arbor, the son of Michael and Lorenna (Dicks) Guzman and Rachel (Jason Pooley) Hamann. He was a Senior at Adrian High School, where he excelled in sports, mostly football and basketball and was employed at Wendy’s. Although Jacob faced many obstacles in his life, he never gave up and always had a smile on his face that could light up any room. Jacob had an outgoing and charismatic personality, with a giving and loving heart, and although at times he was quite strong-headed and strong-willed, that never stopped him from having his brothers and friends backs. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, playing video games with his brothers and friends, singing around the house, and most importantly, he loved God like no other and reading his Bible.

In addition to his parents, Jacob is survived by his  brothers, David and Luke Guzman, Asael Paniagua, Christopher Hamann, and Matthew Clark; one sister, Hannah Gianfermi; grandparents, Fidel Guzman, Paul and Linda Dicks, Bill and Sue Robertson, Patricia Hamann, and Timothy Roberts; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
