Daniel James Valdez, age 33, was welcomed home into the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 4, 2020.
He was born on May 12, 1986, to Danny Valdez and Emily (Hadesh) Kast in Adrian.
Daniel “D.J.” “Juice” enjoyed watching sports, in particular, Michigan Football, the Detroit Lions, and the Detroit Tigers. His greatest passion and talent in life was playing guitar and writing and making music. He shared his gift with all he knew. Daniel had a heart of gold and made an impact on so many people. He had an infectious smile that lit up the room when he walked in. He brought joy and laughter wherever he went.
Daniel is survived by his dad, Danny; stepdad, Tracy Kast; three half-brothers, Matthew and Tim Kast and Aaron Oyervidez; step-grandparents, Gary and Joyce Jackson and Larry and Karen Kast; and his companion, Melissa Clark.
Daniel was preceded in death by his mother, Emily and his grandparents, Pedro Ramonez Valdez and Hope (Sarabia) Valdez and Emil and Delores Hadesh. Daniel will be greatly missed by his family, including a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation for Daniel will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian with Pastor Pete Valdez officiating. Burial will be in Riga Cemetery.
