Adrian – Patricia Ann (Aldrich) Dartt, age 70, of Adrian passed away on February 21, 2018, at Hospice of Lenawee’s Hospice Home, Adrian.
She was born on July 6, 1947, in Johnson City, TN to Mahlon and Pauline (Putnam) Aldrich. Pat was a graduate of Adrian High School and attended Western Michigan University. She worked for the Adrian Daily Telegram and The Access as a placed advertiser for a number of years. Pat volunteered for Hospice of Lenawee, where she enjoyed cooking, baking and assisting with patients while she was volunteering, she was also active with the Annis-Fint V.F.W. Post #1584 Auxiliary in Adrian. Pat grew up attending the First Baptist Church in Adrian and later attended West Rome Baptist Church. She loved playing bingo, socializing with friends, and looked forward to attending luncheons, plays and musicals at the Croswell.
Pat is survived by four brothers, Tom Aldrich of Orlando, FL, Jim (Jean Miller) Aldrich of Novi, Stephen Aldrich of Manitou Beach, and John Aldrich of Casselberry, FL; one sister, Emily (Rick) Aldrich Barbour of Raleigh, NC; three grandchildren, Jon, Lucas, and Lexie Fox all of Germany; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Staff Sgt. Bradley Charles Fox, who died defending his country and was the first soldier to lose his life from Michigan during the Iraq War.
A Celebration of Life for Pat will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at the V.F.W., 726 N.
