BLISSFIELD – Josephine A. Ondrovick, age 92, of Blissfield, died Saturday, July 15, 2017, at Gaslight Village Assisted Living in Adrian.
She was born March 17, 1925, in Blissfield, to Frank and Marie (Komon) Hadesh. On May 17, 1947, she married Frank Ondrovick and he preceded her in death on January 7, 2000. Josephine was an active member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Blissfield and also helped with the funeral dinners. She enjoyed sewing and working with the flowers in her yard, but was known for her baking, especially when it came to making her Czech pastries and homemade wine she made with her husband, Frank.
Josephine is survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Frank, she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Frank Hadesh and Emil Hadesh; a sister, Pauline Pavelka; four brothers-in-law, Stan, Leslie, Joe, and Charlie and two sisters-in-law, Mary and Genevieve.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral liturgy beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Light of Christ Church, St. Peter’s Chapel in Blissfield with Father Mike Kuchar as celebrant. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery in Blissfield.
