Donna Cook

Obituary of Donna Cook

Donna Jean Cook, 88, of Adrian, passed away on Tuesday, June 6th at Lenawee Medical Care Facility. She was born March 8th, 1929 in Adrian to Arthur and Helen Wild.

Donna was so very special to so many people. She spent much of her life as a caretaker for the sick and elderly, where she brought companionship and light to everyone she cared for. She loved spending time with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids and provided them with a lifetime full of fond memories. In her spare time, Donna enjoyed going out with her friends, mastering word searches and playing with her dog. Ask anyone that knew her and they will tell you that she had an ornate knack and joy for cleaning and doing laundry. Donna had a feisty and outgoing spirit that left a footprint on the hearts of everyone she met. She will be sorely missed by her family and loved ones, but her husband, Albert Cook, can finally rest in peace since his love has joined him.

Donna is preceded in heaven by her husband Albert Cook, her father and mother, Arthur and Helen Wild, and sisters Joyce Bater, Arlene Rider and Leola Wild. Donna is survived by her son, Albert (Denise) Cook Jr., daughters, Linda (Danny) Hooker, and Sherry (Randy) Squiers and grandchildren, Toby Hooker, Tanya Smith, Nicholas Squiers, Danielle Miller, Zachary Squiers and Jacob Squiers, and her eleven great grandchildren: Aiden, Owen, Brock, Parker, Stella, Paxton, Everett, Kolton, Wyatt, Eva, Boston and baby Haven on the way.
