Adrian – Juan Pérez-Medrano age 66 of Tucson, Az. passed peacefully in the presence of his sisters on Thursday 11 January 2018 at 7:50 PM due to complications of bi-lateral pneumonia. He was born in Adrian, MI. on 22 October 1951 to Albino Pérez Sr. and Elvira M. Pérez.
Juan graduated from Adrian High School in 1969, attended the University of Arizona for the Bachelors and Masters Degree, and received his Juris Doctor from the Law College of Arizona.
Juan, through his Law Firm, served the needs of his clients for over 34 years. He was honored as Pro Bono Attorney of Pima County, Arizona for over two decades.
He served in the U.S. Army and is a Vietnam Veteran. He was a lifelong member of the YMCA, an avid sports enthusiast, a musician, and a Karaoke aficionado. His greatest passion was his Familia and Friends.
He is survived by his brother, Professor Albino Perez Jr., Emeritus and his wife, Janet of New Haven, Indiana; five sisters: Grace M. Weidaw and her husband Dr. Clark D. Weidaw of Toledo, Ohio, Ernestine “Teena” Perez of Adrian, Andrea Morin Perez and her husband Rudy Morin of Adrian Twp., Josefa Egginton and her husband Mark and Son Alexander from Invercargill, New Zealand, and Maria Perez of Toledo; an Uncle, Roman Perez and his wife Alice of Adrian, and Jim Hutchinson, his Brother and Friend. Treasured, Nephews: Joseph LeVeque (Shannon) from Boca Raton, Florida, Jameson Aaron (Lisa) Reed and
Family from Adrian, and Nieces: Dana (Keith) Arnold of Madison, Wisconsin, Dr. Blake Ann Weidaw MD of Austin, Texas, many Great and Great-Great Nieces and Nephews. His parents preceded Juan in death.
The Funeral Liturgy for Juan will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Tommy Kattikanayil as Celebrant. Visitation will take place on Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 10:00 AM until the time of the Service. A luncheon will be held immediately following the Mass in Father Williams Hall at St. Joseph’s Church. Interment of Cremains will follow the luncheon at St. Joseph’s Cemetery at 1029 Oakwood Road.
