Jack Lee Tuckerman, age 69 of Adrian passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at his home. He was born on March 17, 1948 in Morenci, MI to Ricie and Ruby (Smith) Tuckerman.
Jack worked as a trucker, driving for AGA Trucking out of Kalamazoo, Michigan. In earlier years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jack looked forward to taking his annual trip to Canada for fishing with a group of friends he worked with. Even though his health declined in recent years, Jack still looked forward to spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are his children, Toni (Devon) Venson of Houston, TX; Tara Kimball and John (Dawn) Tuckerman, both of Saugatuck, MI; his friend and companion, Gwen Conklin of Adrian, MI; one brother, Curt (Diane) Tuckerman of Morenci, MI and seven grandchildren, Johnny, Natalie, Ben, Dan, Adam, Kelly and Jamie. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Tom and Larry Tuckerman and his sister, Darlene Bender.
At Jack’s request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service to honor his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian, with Pastor Jamie Driskell officiating. Jack’s ashes will be laid to rest in Oak Grove Cemetery in Morenci following the service. Visitation will also take place on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the start of the service.
